Many of us are reading Andy’s blog from Japan. He is an avid writer, but it looks like he may have hit some kind of danger zone!
Had an epic blogging session yesterday, then slept really badly having nightmares in which I had to blog everything before I did it.
How cool is that?

When I went on the Duck Tour in June, the guide told us all kinds of interesting little stories about London. One of them was about the fact that the Duke of Wellington has a vestigial tail. I wasn’t sure if this was actually true, and we debated it over the weekend while we were up on my dad’s narrow boat somewhere in Cheshire. We asked Any Questions Answered and they said they couldn’t find out if it is true or not.
I’ve just had a look on Google Books and there’s one called Human Oddities that’s just been published and apparently the Duke of Wellington could only ride on horseback using a specially modified saddle with a hole in the rear to accommodate his small bony vestigial tail. And it’s in a book so it must be true!

Matt’s ever popular Alpaca Approach video was set to Star Wars music last week by some enterprising individual – check it out here. It’s become a little internet phenomenon and been replicated in various other places, and even appeared on a live US television show called Attack of the Show!
I’m having an involuntary wave of internet hysteria about it!
