True Crime! -

My bike got stolen.
Obviously I’m furious.
And further, like any normal person, I blame certain elements of the so called entertainment media which have glamourised the crime of bicycle theft, I don’t think it’s too strong to call for the banning of this sick filth.
In other news: Jesus Nintendo when will, you learn.

Arms Control -
April 25th, 2006
Lack of controls on the arms trade is fuelling conflict, poverty and human rights abuses worldwide. Every government is responsible. The Control Arms campaign is asking governments to toughen up controls on the arms trade.
Our Million Faces petition is collecting photos and self portraits from around the world to reach our goal of one million faces by June 2006. We will use these faces to send a powerful, global message of support to the world’s governments for an International Arms Trade Treaty.

Black Mountain -

Things I can’t get out of my head when listening to Black Mountain
- Black Sabbath
- Can
- Patti Smith
- Stereolab
- How the riff on track two is so incredibly amazingly epic, it feels totally eternal, hewn out from primordial sludge over millenia by natural selection.
- How canadians do the 70’s retro rock thing really well. (re. the previous link has the exclamation “WOO!” ever been more appropriate?)
None of this is a bad thing obviously.
er… hello? -

Something seems to be wrong with the database.
Not sure what.
UPDATE : OK, things seem to be working OK now, I’m sure you’re relieved.
ANOTHER UPDATE : OK, now the themes f*cked up. Jesus christ Wordpress! Why do you have to do this when I’m at work?
LAST UPDATE : RIGHT, switched to this theme until I can sort this f*cker out.

I think it still stands out as a really nice little piece of animation.
