“users of Yahoo’s TV page will be able to click on a record-to-TiVo button directly from a television program listing to remotely schedule recordings. […] in the coming months, possibly before the end of the year, Yahoo’s traffic and weather content, as well as its users’ photos will be viewable on televisions via TiVo’s broadband service and easy-to-use screen menu.”

I think I can dimly recall a time when this kind of thing might have seemed interesting to me. Now it just fills me with a mixture of boredom and despair. I think I might need to get a new job or change career or leave the country or something. I’ve always fancied Canada.

a sidenote, but what really annoys me at the moment is people who add me to their friends list in myspace, at which point I have to approve their “friendship”, only to find that they have an entire music video on the myspace page which crashes my browser and breaks the internet.

i hate them!

Still, I guess it serves me right for using such an infantile service.
