Look, if you want to lose weight it’s simple. You have 2 options.
1. consume less energy.
2. expend more energy.
If at any point energy input to the system (your body) is greater than energy used by the system (your body) there will be a surplus of energy which the system (your body) will have to store. It’s like an equation, the two sides need to balance. It doesn’t matter what form the energy is in. Also bread is not a ‘toxin’.
And always remember, if you make “lifestyle choices” that involve expending as little energy as possible in all circumstances then you’re an idiot.

And then tom said:The problem is life span, unless it’s radically curtailed, isn’t really a particularly strong selection factor. Most peiople who are going to breed will have done so by the time they’re 40, before the effects of obesity really kick in.
